Sefin Stefura

Sefin Stefura (he/him & they/them) grew up and still lives in Dominion, Nova Scotia. Sefin had been volunteering with the Youth Project between 2017-2019 and has been working with the Youth Project since the summer of 2019. He has a passion for helping the 2SLGBTQ+ community, and he hopes to be a positive role model for struggling youth. He has a healthy obsession with his cat named Prince, is a proud new uncle, and is a massive dork. Sefin is currently entering year 3 of obtaining his Bachelor of Arts/Community Studies degree. In his free time, he can be found working on his 2SLGBTQ+ novel, Final Encore.

Aiden Wadden-Lynk

When Aiden was 14 years old, he came out as transgender. After coming out, he began noticing just how hard being a trans athlete was and became very discouraged from taking part in any physical activity. When he moved to Alberta after graduation, he reached out to Queerflex which was the only specifically queer-inclusive gym in Canada at the time. Since coming into contact with Queerflex, Aiden has learned and taught others about how to change gym culture, being an ally, and the effects of hormone therapy and gender-affirming surgeries on training.
